Honestly, I might choose Pylea at this point if it would get me the hell out of Florida.
Our flight was cancelled due to crappy weather in NY. We have managed to get reservations on a slightly later one into a different airport (luckily my mom was flexible about picking us up somewhere else), so please everyone pray for me that this flight doesn't get cancelled too, or that we don't all do a Buddy Holly and friggin die in a monsoon.I just wanna go home! My hands and feet are swollen to shit, my body and soul are all clogged with food, water and yuck, I have had nightmares EVERY SINGLE NIGHT we have been here, and the only place I have had for days to be by myself for five seconds is the bathroom which has one of those automatic light-goes-on-vent-goes-on things which is even louder than the in-room air conditioning.

*sigh*

Yesterday turned out to be about half-and-half hell. Didn't get to see the camp kids nearly as much as I would've liked due to Gracie duties, and having her in Dad's house is a study in stress, but eventually she took a nap with Rob outside and I was able to catch up with the kids a bit (my theatre-dept favourites too. For those who haven't seen it elsewhere and now that I know how to embed pictures, here is an example of the happy...











That is Michael Kushner, one of the happiest of the happy teenagers in my life. Among other things, we discussed summer plans to find occasion for us to sing "The Song That Goes Like This" (from Spamalot) together, reason enough to be stoked for camp if even if none others existed.
