Ups and downs, downs and ups

deadlightsgirl Plus it is the end of shot day and as soon as The Golden Girls come on for me to sleep to, I will be conking out.
Up -- new vid is done and posted, I am rather pleased with how it turned out, and it already has 260ish YouTube hits, including a comment left by some freak I don't know in another country saying "lick my poo". Hey, as long as they spell my name right, y'know? Overall it seems to be well received.
Down -- while it is good that my FB charity just sent out its second Happy, from the May 1st drawing, it is lame that with as many people as that group has, the winner is only getting a measly 60 bucks or so. I wish people would just leave the group so there wouldn't be such high expectations. Is this about people waiting for their turn to be the winner, or is it about being unselfish and trying to bring happiness to someone else? I was hoping it was the latter, but if it turns out to be the former, I will just make some changes to the group (those on my flist who committed and do send, you know who you are and I love you for it), since the PO Box has me committed to it for at least a year.
Up -- Mason meeting was okay Saturday, but what rocked was the many hours of great chat I had with L and C after the meeting was over, not to mention the vegetarian polenta lasagna. Very exciting.
Down -- weather sucking out loud. It does horrible things to my body when it is any kind of damp out, just slams me like the worst PMS ever, plus I can't go out walking and feel better via endorphines.
Up -- Rob was home over the weekend so I could go to my meeting and hang out after.
Down -- he is leaving again Wednesday and won't be back til Monday. Anyone got any free evenings, or Saturday? Wanna come hang with me and the kiddo?
Up, to end -- I think I have found the right stuff to use on my dried-out scalp, to make the itchies abate somewhat. Good thing too, I am putting it off, but I will need to take it back to the salon and get my roots done plus more purple bits before a certain wedding in June. The thought of bleach and hair colour on an ouchy scalp is not a happy one. But I must have more purple bits!
