Blistery goodness
Jun. 18th, 2009 08:02 am Man,
harpiegrl should have a hen night every day. I got a blister on my thumb, sore feet, and a tin of chrysanthemum tea to show for it, and that is all just fine. Not to mention a whole bunch of girly lovin and a yummy drink or five.
I will also never make tea the same way again, and now I dearly want a proper tea set for which to brew tea in the non-ghetto-American fashion (that is, to be drunk not like it's coffee). The tea ceremony (www.radiancetea.com, go here lots) was more tasting-y than ceremonial, but I still learned things, and not all of them were about tea. One of the main ones was, do not try to explain the high points of Pacific Overtures to the nice people at the tea house, even when you buy chrysanthemum tea from them.
I haven't drummed in so long. So very long. God it felt good. I missed it so much. Have to find more excuses to play. Really just have to. I will cherish this blister and hope to earn another super -soon.
BTW, has everyone watched the hotness that is
screamingdolai 's recent bellydance video? Lots and lots of hotness. Go rate the shit out've it.
