Tuesday nights we would have final playback on the mixing stage (a last look at the for-air cut of the show that was going out the next night). It would be Tommy and me, the associate producers, sound engineers, post-production supervisors and music editors and each week, for four years, we'd end up singing along with the music. Everyone but Tommy, who's from Texas.
