Gracie's classroom PA said to me today that every day in class, they go over the alphabet, using a chart with letters and illustrations. The kids all say "A is for Apple"...etc. Apparently Gracie does every letter with the rest of the class, up til they get to the letter Q, which is illustrated with a picture of a Queen. Every time, Gracie will say "Mama!" She says I'm queen. I win.

Speaking of things that win, I got a house call from the glorious

ladyjoust , including homemade chili which I am going to have tomorrow, and expect to be doing the Happy Food Dance all the while. I also popped by the craft store and got makings for accessories for my Red Queen outfit for Sunday...my crown is done and is a thing of beauty. There will be pictures...oh yes, there will be pictures.
