So we learn things, and we do okay, and we pay attention to the teensy ways in which the universe lets us know it doesn't hate us. For example, when I had to get up at 4 AM with the kiddo the other day, this was what was on Sesame Street -

The fun '93 version with Savion and the Fool Moon guys. Yay.

The thing that went okay was the rest of the night. Gracie went to bed no problem, and while she did come into my bed during the night, she went back to sleep directly, and so I could too. I was in some pain last night, but not too much. Got her on the bus, took soma, went back to sleep. Got up, made aforementioned steak, and between all these things plus a double-sized frappuccino, I was actually feeling normal by the time Gracie got off the school bus. Julie came over to assist mom in bringing Gracie to her gym thing, so even though I was feeling fine, the extra loafing time was nice.

The thing we learn will be applied for next week, when I have to push shot day to Thursday due to the gorram week off for Easter. I will shoot up early again and take her out again, but I will just make sure to pack some road-meds with me in case the shot starts to hit while we're out. We'll see if that works.
