breathing now
Mar. 20th, 2010 05:11 pmOkay, I shan't delete the last post for all I hate to sound whingey...but this addendum is to show that my day has improved somewhat.
I got my wish about no one coming to yoga. No money, but don't care just now. I did some errands, picked up some Chinese food from the good place, and generally mellowed out. I think I will have to start bringing some karaoke CDs to class with me, so if no one shows up I can sing away the hour and blow off some steam that way.
One of the stops I made was the supermarket, and I perused the cheapy DVDs they had and found that dog Kipper Gracie has been into, so now I can erase that from the tivo. And...it hurts me to admit it...I bought Gracie a Barney DVD. She learned about Barney in school and gets very excited whenever she sees him, and vile as he may be to adults, he's good for her to watch. And right now she is sitting mesmerized, so I'll take it - besides, I'm reading this really nifty book just now.
The weather is warm enough that I hauled out her pool, and that kept her happy and outside for a few hours, and it got her VERY muddy (I got footage), and there will be much bathing later.
Soon there will be pre-pirate visits from a few lovely individuals. Awesome.
You know, I have never actually seen an episode of Barney. God he is annoying and creepy...and the children on the show are even more so. I hope none of these kids ever went to French Woods.
