deadlightsgirlGracie was supposed to go meet a pediatric psychiatrist today. I'd met him a few weeks back, the result of the recommendation made by the neuro I took her to. Neuro said he wasn't my guy, but that shrink would be my guy, at least for a diagnosis. In a nutshell, here it is -
Keep doing what I'm doing. She'll go to the special school, I'll suck it up when it's challenging, I'll be there for her and love her more than anything, and time will tell. In any case, he is confident that meds are not a thing she needs now, if ever.
I coulda told him that without spending the $220 twice. But it's good to have confirmation from a professional.
