Today, for the first time I can think of, Gracie and I actually sat and played with her toys - like, she gave me a toy horsie and she had one and they interacted and had adventures we both made up. Also it should be mentioned that the toy horsies were good-behaviour rewards for what has to have been one of our most peaceful trips to the supermarket to date. AND I was able to colour my hair this morning - she has lately been very good about sitting and watching the TV while Mama takes a shower, and not misbehaving or running outside. She still needs what she needs, but this has been a huge summer of growth for her, and the snowballing just continues.
